Gift Subscriptions in Your Cart
If you have a gift subscription and other products in the same cart, here's what happens at checkout:
Your gift subscription
- Ships to the gift recipient at the address you entered during the gift signup.
- It starts on the date you chose.
- Any included or added teaware on the gift subscription is packed into the recipient's first box.
- Nothing else in your cart is included in the gift shipment. You cannot add other items from our store and have them included in your gift.
If your cart only includes gift subscriptions, you will not be asked for a shipping address at checkout, because we collected the shipping address for the gift during the gift signup.
Everything else in your cart
If you have any other products in your cart, you will be asked for a shipping address at checkout, like any normal order. They are not part of the gift and won't be included in the gift box. If you enter the gift recipient's shipping address as the destination for these items, they will not be shipped together with your gift subscription.
Want to add extra tea to the gift?
Teas for the gift are chosen inside the gift signup (the first box) or later from the recipient's account — not by adding products to the cart. To change the gift's teas or teaware, use the Edit gift link on the cart page.
Gift Subscriptions & Free Gifts
We offer free gifts on orders over a certain dollar amount. These free gifts are not available on gift subscriptions and the value of the gift subscription does not count toward the free gift threshold.
