Feng Qing Ye Sheng Hong Cha "Wild Tree" Purple Black Tea
- In stock, ready to ship
- Backordered, shipping soon
From the remote mountains west of Feng Qing Township in Yunnan’s Lincang Prefecture, this exceptional wild tree black tea is crafted from a rare, naturally occurring purple leaf varietal known locally as Ye Sheng (野生) — meaning “wild.”
Growing untamed at 2,000–2,200 meters near Da Si Village, these ancient trees thrive without cultivation, absorbing the pure mountain air and mineral-rich soil. The result is a tea with remarkable depth and energy — smooth, complex, and full of vitality.
Lightly fermented to preserve the leaf’s natural character, this tea brews to a golden amber liquor that glows in the cup. Notes of ripe stone fruit, dark chocolate, and aged rum unfold with each sip, finishing clean and lingering with a soft sweetness.
Varietal: Ye Sheng (Wild Tree Purple Leaf)
