Very good

I love the smell of the tea leaves --there's definitely a guava smell. But, I can't pick up distinctive flavors when I drink it. It's just a good tea taste, not highly flavored. Which, actually, can be a good thing! It doesn't stand out for me as much as Tropical Coconut Oolong. This one is more subtle. But, I'd say it's worth a try!

Exquisite Tea

Guava Gold is the most balanced tea I have ever tasted. It has its own sweetness and is such a pleasing flavor and aroma. Many green teas are tough on my stomach and, while I like them I do need to add a bit of honey to soften them up. Guava gold doesn’t need any such help. I usually start my day with a black tea and switch to Guava Gold through the afternoon.

An unexpected tea blend

If I were offered tea in a children’s storybook like Alice in Wonderland or The Wind in the Willows, I imagine it would taste something like Guava Gold. It’s a satisfying tea with an unexpected magical quality to it. I have had black tea, herbal tea and green tea, but this is the first time I have tried an oolong tea. So, I was curious to know what a blend of white, green and oolong teas would taste like. Guava Gold has the taste of real tea leaves, the way that black tea does, but it's a much lighter flavor. When I drink it, I taste a leafy tea that reminds me of raspberry leaves, but after each swallow, the taste of strawberry lingers for a few pleasant moments on the tongue. It's not strong, but more like the whiff of a burst strawberry bubble. I first tried this tea as part of my tea subscription and I liked it so much that I purchased a larger bag of it.

Favorite of a new tea drinker

Guava Gold is my 18 year olds favorite tea. They started drinking tea around 17, with little success. I am an avid tea drinker and bought many types and flavors hoping they would find one to enjoy. Finally Guava Gold was the one. They usually make it sweet, but I enjoy it plain. This is great team
