the flavor was a lot more apple pie and was lacking in the chai. great if you are looking for a tea that tastes like apple pie. bad if you are looking for a chai.
I love chai & I assumed ai’r like this one. The strong smell of apple pie originally threw me a little, however by the end of my first cup I decided I loved it. Reminds me of warm apple pie smell & hint of the flavor w the strong / boldness of Chai. very interesting & good tea i’ll buy another pouch for sure
Let me preface this: I abhor chai. So, when it comes to "good" chai, I'm not the one to ask. BUT, my wife LOVES the stuff. So, at the recommendation of Felicia Day through her Facebook postings, I bought some of this for my wife for her birthday. According to her, this is, "like, no kidding, the best chai that has ever lived." I'm going to have to take her word for it. I can't get near the stuff; it smells too much like chai! But, she is very pleased, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to give it Five Stars. (Also, FYI, you throw a shot of fine plantation rum in a cup of this stuff, and maybe a splash of pure blue agave nectar, and she REALLY likes it!) Would highly recommend!
