Making Your Gift Subscription a Surprise!
Our gift subscriptions either start immediately, or allow you to select a date in the future. In both cases, your gift recipient will receive an email on the date you select and the first box ships the next day.
If you want to make the first box of your gift subscription a surprise, you will not want your gift recipient to receive ANY emails.
Here's how to do it:

Start with the Gift Subscription checkout process
• Select 'Start Now' or 'Pick a Date'

Customize their first box
• If you selected a date too far in the future, customization may not be offered.

Select their plan
• Gift subscriptions do not renew, so your gift will only last as long as the number of boxes selected.

On the Gift Details page, do not put the gift recipient's email in the 'Recipient 'Email' field. Put your own email address in this field.
• Fill out the shipping address you want for the first box.

When you reach Shopify checkout, make sure the email address is yours, and the shipping address is correct.
- Complete your order.
After handing the subscription box to your recipient, contact us with the correct email address and shipping address for the remainder of your gift subscription. This is a change we have to make for you.
We will then invite your gift recipient to create an account so they can take control of the subscription.
If you are only gifting 1 box, there is no need to contact us with updated information, as there will be no future shipments.
Please Note:
Our subscription boxes are shipped in branded boxes. If you live at the same address as a gift recipient, we suggest shipping it somewhere else or making sure you're home to intercept it.
Delivery Times
In Canada, allow at least 15 days for delivery of a subscription box. To receive it before Christmas, we strongly recommend ordering before December 7th.
In America, allow at least a week for the delivery of a subscription box. To receive it before Christmas, we strongly recommend ordering before December 15th.
