The Competition Grade Qimen black tea, while certainly expensive, is the best black tea I’ve ever had. I have also tried 2 other high-end black teas from TeaRunners and definitely liked them a lot (Feng Qing China Red and Himalayan Golden Black) - but it would be hard to top this Competition Qimen. It has a special chocolatey and malty nuanced taste, a soft smoothness, and a wonderful finish. I will be buying more.
Let customers speak for us
from 780 reviewsThis tea is truly a fantastic treat for me!
I will use it as my go to tea for times of celebration!
Thank you for making such a quality offering available to us.
This tea is a richly robust black tea flavor. The temp recommendation and steep time is perfect. It's a good tea to get lost with Hulu!
Very good tea. Both great served cold and hot. I wish I had bought more before it sold out.
This is such a well-run passion project! The tea is delicious and all the teaware is quality and make lovely gifts. Everything is always packaged with such care and style. It's easy to pause your subscription if needed and any time I have had an issue or needed help, their customer service has been fast and friendly. I love Tea Runners! No power in the verse can stop them!
This tea is delightful! It really does smell like dessert in a cup! If you are a fan of rooibos and a fan of shortbread, you will love this.
The Easy Brew teapot is the only tea strainer I have come across that will actually strain the fine Rooibos teas that I drink almost daily. The super fine mesh does the trick and the design of the pot is so easy to clean unlike other narrow tea strainers that sit in your cup. I wish Tea Runners also sold one of these that is big enough to make two cups of tea! I would buy it in a flash!
I've had plenty of teas which included blueberry or cinnamon, but how many let you taste the crumble?? This one has a delightful caramelized cakey flavor, just like a muffin or crumble, which takes the blueberry and cinnamon to a whole new level. The taste is wildly accurate, to the point that the first time I tried it, I went around the house going "How did they add the crumble!! How does it taste like crumble??" I originally tried this as part of the subscription box, but I immediately bought the largest bag. It's that good.
This is bar none the best single-serving teapot I've tried. The mesh in the top actually keeps any and all tea from appearing in your cup. The glass feels thin and fragile, but so far has shown itself to be pretty tough. And without a tea ball or bag, the tea has plenty of room to open up and float around, infusing the water. And it's easy to clean.
This tea pot needs to be in your collection if you are a serious tea drinker. It measures out 8oz, the standard size of taste testing & enough for tea for when time is limited. Even more still it is easy to end up with more than one so being able to measure out 16 oz perfectly is the high life! I can steep 16oz using 2 of these affordable tea pots & make my favorite iced loose leaf tea. And if that wasn't good enough, you can earn a free tea pot with a 90 dollar purchase.
one of my favorites teas, has that nice full roasted vanilla flavor that lingers and smells wonderful. Puts me in a happy place and I too often drink it too fast, and become a little sad, but satisfied.
I thought this tea would make a great addition to my box, but I didn't expect to love it -this- much! A lovely, mildly sweet, spiced flavor!
I can't believe no one has left a review. This was actually the first tea from TR I tried and it was AMAZING! Please bring it back.
This tea is perfect in the afternoon for a little lift. The color and taste is quite satisfying.
