This rare and beautiful tea is a pure bud pick from established plants in the Mojiang area of Simao. It is a spring harvest tea that has been carefully processed to keep its lovely appearance and guard its subtle sugarcane and malty flavors.

We recommend steeping this tea one cup at a time at a lower temperature than other black teas to preserve its delicate flavors.

Absolutely delicious!

I was super curious to try this as I’ve never had a black tea like this and I’m honestly super impressed. It was a malty, almost nutty flavor to it. The black tea flavor is not as heavy in this tea, but the sugarcane flavor is the biggest thing I notice and I love it. I added a little sugar and milk just to see what it would taste like, and the flavors do not disappear at all! All around this tea can be enjoyed in several ways and still keep its lovely flavors!
