Delicious!

I thought this tea would make a great addition to my box, but I didn't expect to love it -this- much! A lovely, mildly sweet, spiced flavor!

More subtle than expected

I was expecting a strong, holiday-ish flavor but found this tea to be far more subtle than expected. Unsweetened this tea was warm and smokey more than salty, but soft in the mouth. Sweetened with Splenda it gathered more life and tasted of brown sugar. With cream, it was exactly what the label read; Carmel with a hint of pumpkin. The description said this tea is popular year-round, and now I know why.

Unpopular opinion

I found this tea undrinkable, and had to give it away. I'm sure it's not a quality issue, just my reaction to a particular flavoring agent. This, and basically any other tea that is supposed to taste like caramel or cookies, tastes just like the fake butter flavor of buttered popcorn jellybellies to me, which I can't stand. If you enjoy that, though, you will probably love it.

Savory and satisfying black tea

About six months ago, I replaced my morning cup of coffee with black tea. I particularly enjoy black teas with flavor. This tea reminds me of my favorite breakfast meal. You know: the kind that you only make once in awhile on a slow weekend morning. To me, this tea does indeed have light tones of pumpkin and caramel, and the end flavor is like maple syrup, with a pinch of turmeric. This is now one of my favorite Tearunners teas to brew for my morning cup. Thank you for helping me center in the morning, Tearunners!
