Winter Wonderland Rooibos

My son takes a thermos of this to school every day, he says it reminds of Christmas.

So yummy! Perfect with a little milk for a nightcap.

At first I wasn't sure about it, but after a few times (adding extra leaves and steeping longer) I love it! The aroma is sweet and the flavor is pleasant and nutty/sweet.

I found the flavor excellent, but the actual rooibos was hidden and a bit too light for my taste. I found myself doubling or more the recommended amount.

Imagine falling asleep on a snowy winter’s night, and you dream of flying over the houses into the woods, to a mossy cabin lit golden in the soft falling snow. There, in your pajamas, you sit in a cozy room, your face warmed by the ember light of a burning wood stove in the corner. Drying herbs hang from the rafters, and copper pots glisten and wink in the firelight. In your dreamy, sleepy state, you’re offered this bright, nutty tea. It has a creamy hazelnut flavor, followed by a sweet edge of cinnamon, then a pleasant grassy note at the end. That’s where I go in my imagination each time I brew a pot of this Winter Wonderland Rooibos. It’s extremely satisfying for my sweet tooth, and I’ve already purchased it twice.
