With 2026 upon us, we’ve been hard at work planning our tea calendar for the next six months. It includes many of our best-selling favorites, along with exciting new teas we can’t wait for you to try.

Below is a preview of what we’re working on for our subscriptions in 2026:

Best Sellers Available More Often

One of the ways we’re improving our subscription in 2026 is by making our most popular teas available more often throughout the year.

Since we don’t repeat the default set of teas in a monthly box for about a year, some subscribers may miss out on favorites like Majestic Earl Grey, Classic Laoshan Black, Moonlight Jasmine, and more -- especially if they’re only subscribed for a few months.

In 2026, we’ll be offering our most popular teas as customization options more frequently than ever before.

Controlling Costs Without Raising Prices

In a world where the cost of nearly everything continues to rise, we work hard at Tea Runners to avoid passing those increases on to you.

Shipping costs continue to climb, and tariffs affect nearly every imported product—including tea. Rather than raising prices (or resorting to shrinkflation by sending less tea), we focus on finding smarter ways to reduce costs behind the scenes.

You may notice your subscription arriving in new packaging in 2026. We’re introducing a stylish, letter-style package that differs slightly from our traditional envelope-style box. It’s cheaper to produce, lighter to ship, and more efficient overall.

To further reduce cost and waste, we’ll also be phasing out the printed Monthly Card in favor of a digital monthly newsletter.

Setting Tea Preferences

We know how important it is that you receive teas you truly enjoy—which is why you can already customize from 25+ teas every month.

We’re exploring taking this one step further by allowing you to set tea preferences for your subscription.

For example, if you don’t enjoy Earl Grey teas, you could indicate that preference and never receive one in your box by default.

These preferences would help tailor your default selections more closely to your tastes—while still giving you full control to customize each month.

January 2026 Tea Lineup

Our January lineup features many popular favorites, along with a couple of new additions.

Personally, I’ve been enjoying Blackberry Sage Black a lot lately.

Earl Grey Crème and Winter Wonderland Rooibos have been best sellers for many years.

Snowberry Frost is brand new to our lineup!

Mystic Mint is one of our top herbal teas—and a personal favorite of my mom’s, who reminded me it hasn’t appeared in the lineup nearly enough.
