"Smoked teas" are typically teas that have been intentionally exposed to smoke during the drying or processing stage. The smoking process imparts a distinct smoky flavor to the tea leaves. There are several types of smoked teas, but two of the most well-known are Lapsang Souchong and Russian Caravan.
