May is here! 

We don’t know about you, but in our neck of the woods, we’ve had our fair share of April showers and are ready for the warm months to come! As the weather gets warmer, we’ll have lots of tea options to come that are equally delicious served hot or over ice. But for now, we hope you love our spring-inspired teas we’re offering this month.

We have lots of new a delicious teas coming to our lineup this year. We’ve recently taste-tasted over 100 different teas and have selected our very favorites to share with you.

Earl Grey Lavender

Earl Grey Lavender is a welcoming twist on the classic Earl Grey tea.

This Earl Grey is made up of organic Chinese black tea, Italian bergamot pressed from real fruit, and organic lavender blossoms from Greece.

The practice of adding lavender to Earl Grey tea dates back to the 17th century, creating a wonderful tea.

Earl Grey Lavender is one of our most popular teas!

Ingredients: Organic black tea, organic lavender flowers, essential bergamot oil, natural lavender oil extract.

Mystic Mint

This seemingly simple blend of peppermint, cardamom, and licorice root combine to form a deep and uplifting complexity to refresh your spirits.

Savor the sweet notes of basil with a slight hint of clove as you relax and digest after a meal, or as an uncaffeinated night cap to settle the body for sleep.

If you think you don't like caffeine-free teas, mystic mint may change your tune.

Blue Mountain Black

The Nilgiri tea-growing region in southern India is mostly known for producing strong, bold black teas, similar to the Ceylon black teas of neighboring Sri Lanka, but with their own unique flavors. At up to 8000 ft above sea level, it is one of the highest-elevation tea growing regions in the world, and one of the most beautiful.

Blue Mountain Black is an exquisite treat with a unique and worldly flavor profile, sure to become a favorite.

Wu Liang Hong Mao Feng Black Tea

Grown in the high altitude region of Simao, this black tea is expertly crafted and totally unique. Its leaves are slightly fermented before being processed into black tea, creating a depth and earthiness to its body, while still remaining floral with notes of dried fruit throughout.

Delightful and interesting, and sure to create a conversation.

Blueberry Rooibos

Besides being beautiful to look at, this caffeine-free herbal blend combines the floral sweetness of blueberries with the tartness of currants, balanced with hearty rooibos.

Try this tea after a big meal or before bed to relax the senses and prepare your body for a deep sleep. Kids like this one, too!

Ingredients: Rooibos, elderberries, hibiscus flowers, currants, blueberries, natural blueberry flavor, schizandra berries, natural strawberry flavor.

Yuzu Pineapple Black

Bursting with tart and juicy citrus, this strong black tea is a great thirst-quencher for summer. Grapefruit and mandarin notes harmonize beautifully with the sweetness of pineapple. Delicious served warm, but we especially love it served ice cold with a slice of your favorite citrus fruit.

Ancient Pu-erh Tuo Cha

This traditional style ripe Pu-erh is a blend of vintages ranging from 2-4 years in age. These small Ancient Tuo Cha (meaning "dome shaped") Pu-erh cakes are perfect for single-serving size and should be enjoyed all day with multiple infusions.

Each subsequent infusion reveals the complex personality this tea hides under its powerful earthy smell: a little sweet, a little savory, and very smooth with notes of dark mocha. A tremendously soothing tea.

Tropical Coconut Oolong

Elegant Bao Zhong oolong tea gets an exotic and fruity boost from coconut flakes and dried pineapple. The floral complexities of oolong are still on the forefront while a refreshing summery sweetness balances out the palate, resulting in a rejuvenating, creamy cup.

Try it iced to bring out its tropical flavors even more.

Big Snow Mountain of Mengku Black Tea

This black tea comes from the high-altitude tea farming region in Lincang. It is processed from the first flush of spring assamica tea leaves of 30-40 year old naturally grown tea plants.

Big Snow Mountain Black brews a deep red liquor with floral notes and a sweet thick mouthfeel.

Ceylon Burning Sun

Ceylon Burning Sun is another fantastic creation from the world-famous and highly awarded Lumbini Tea Estate in southern Sri Lanka.

This strong and robust black tea is mixed with broken golden tips, adding to its deep complexity and layered power. You may notice the taste of pungent dark fruit in its finish.

Kanchanjangha Verde

Kanchanjangha tea estate is nestled in the foothills of Mt. Kanchenjanga, the third highest mountain in the world, in the eastern part of Nepal.

This fine green tea is mellow, smooth and pleasing to drink. Begin searching for floral notes followed by soft grass and finishing with a hint of sweet ground nuts.

This tea is an excellent tea to re-steep many times.

Sri Lanka, formerly called Ceylon, has been providing some of the world's best teas for over 200 years. The Vithanakande tea estate is known for producing some of Sri Lanka's top Ceylon teas, such as this one. It is malty, smooth, and full bodied, with plenty of complex layers. It makes a great breakfast tea!

We recommend experimenting with the steep time to get the right strength for your palate.
