Our Sparkling Hibiscus Berry Tea Cocktail combines Tea Concentrate, Elderflower Liqueur, a Squeeze of Fresh Lemon Juice and a generous pour of Prosecco for the ultimate spring cocktail. It's floral, tart and refreshing (not to mention, pretty darn easy!) Serve this at your next Happy Hour or Dinner. Your guests are sure to be impressed.
We recommend a fairly dry wine like brut or cava, as the elderflower liqueur balances this cocktail with a sweet floral finish. We used Tea Runner's Hibiscus Berry Tea but any fruity or floral tea would be lovely. Get creative!
1 oz Hibiscus Berry Tea Concentrate (recipe below)
1/2 oz Elderflower Liqueur (we used St. Germain's)
1/2 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice Chilled Prosecco or Sparkling Wine of choice.
To make the Tea Concentrate:
Pour 1C of hot water over 4tsp Tea Runner's Hibiscus Berry Tea. Allow to steep for at least 15 minutes or until you see a rich, ruby color. Chill in the refrigerator.
To make the Cocktail:
Add tea concentrate, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice in a cocktail glass. Stir to combine. Top off with chilled prosecco. Garnish with a flower or lemon peel and enjoy!
